Java Application Developer (m/f)

We are looking for a Java application developer (m/f) to expand our consultancy team.

Your tasks

  • Conception and implementation of new functionality and solutions for the RapidRep product family for the automation of reporting and test processes
  • Extend and optimize existing complex components
  • Implement JUnit tests for new components

Your profile

  • Good study degree (computer science, business informatics or comparable)
  • Several years of experience with Java and JDBC development
  • Ideally, already several years of professional experience in the entire software development process
  • Solid knowledge of the entire software development process, from requirements analysis to design and implementation, to testing and acceptance
  • Preferably experience in GUI programming, ideally with JFace / SWT
  • Profound SQL knowledge, experience with RDBMS such as Oracle, DB2, SQL Server, Sybase, H2 or Derby
  • Experience in using software development tools (Ant, SVN, Eclipse, JUnit)
  • Unix basic knowledge
  • Practical experience in the creation of technical software documentation
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
  • High proficiency in German (speaking and writing)
  • Good command of written and spoken English
  • Independent and self-responsible way of working
  • Good communicative skills, social skills, ability for teamwork
  • Willingness to learn about new technologies, products and financial topics
